Botswana

Karen Robertson, Botswana Representative

Karen moved to Botswana 5 years ago where she started Karob Consulting, a Human Resources Consulting company. Karen previously worked for De Beers Kimberley Mines and it was there that she was introduced to Free To Grow. She facilitated a number of workshops and was overwhelmed by the positive outcomes. One area of improvement was the ABET pass rate, which increased significantly following the learners participation in the Free To Grow Lifeskills workshop.

Since her business is about helping people and organisations to grow, the natural next step was to add these programmes to the services she offers. There is a genuine desire to improve the running of organisations in the country and she hopes to impart the essential skills by way of the Free To Grow workshops.

The Botswana Training Authority (BOTA) has accredited the following Free To Grow programmes: Free To Grow Lifeskills, Money Sense, Managing Conflict, Thrive! and Free To Care,
